New Construction/Replacement

This major phased renovation and addition project provides a 108,000 sq. ft. facility with a capacity for 800 students. The construction was divided into three major phases and constructed with all 800 students on campus. Student population is expected to remain at this level or slightly decrease over the next five years, however the design is flexible and capable to accommodate an increase in student population, should one occur.

The design included demolition of selected portions of the existing facility, with new construction that provides unification to the look and feel of the 12 acre site. The campus consists of four buildings: a Gymnasium, Forum building, Unified Arts building, and a Kitchen building.  The new construction allowed the existing buildings to be used during phased construction with the help of portable classrooms. The program relationships and square footage requirements have been incorporated into an efficient plan, conforming to the Educational Specifications and Architectural Program developed specifically for Eisenhower Middle School.
